Fargo Main Avenue Urban Renewal photograph collection [graphic]. [1950s-1970s]

Images used in the planning and execution phases of the urban renewal project. They document the area affected by the project including aerials of the project area and many images of individual buildings before demolition. Many of the building images were part of two appraisals done by Ralph Wenger and Co. and Arthur A. Hagen.

The urban renewal plan for Main Avenue in Fargo, N.D. was approved in 1961 and involved the Main Avenue areas from the Red River to Broadway.
